Enclosed is a check for $7,500.00 for payment in full for connection, installation and maintenance of the wastewater collection system and abandonment of the existing septic tank.
I understand that once the wastewater service is available, I will be required to connect to the District wastewater treatment system, disconnect from and properly abandon any septic tank pursuant to 30 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 285.36, pay the monthly service charge to the District for wastewater treatment service and that said wastewater treatment service shall be provided subject to the Rules and Regulations of the District and all other applicable governmental entities. Monthly fees are charged per living unit. Non-payment of wastewater service fees will result in termination of water service.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION WASTE WATER CONNECTIONS
All new construction homes in Tahitian Village, which will be connected to the BCWCID # 2 wastewater system, must have the following items for wastewater service.
MARK W/STAKE THE 4" OR 3" SEWER SERVICE OUTLET 220 VOLT 20 AMP Breaker in the Breaker Panel 10/3 Electrical wire stubbed out where the sewer stub out on the house is located

All new wastewater connections are subject to the Rates, Rules & Regulations adopted by the Bastrop County WCID #2 and Regulations required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) on the abandonment of septic tanks.
§285.36. Abandoned Tanks, Boreholes, Cesspools, and Seepage Pits.
(a) An abandoned tank is a tank that is not to be used again for "holding sewage.
(b) To properly abandon, the owner shall conduct the following actions, in the
order listed.
(1) All tanks. boreholes, cesspools, seepage pits, holding tanks, and pump tanks shall have the wastewater removed by a waste transporter, holding a current registration with the executive director.
(2) All tanks. boreholes, cesspools, seepage pits, holding tanks, and pump tanks shall be filled to ground level with fill materials (less than three inches in diameter) which is :free of organic and construction debris.
